Rabbi David Sher is a member of 91Ó°ÊÓ’s Talmud department and serves as Grade Dean for the sophomore class. He also serves as the Director of Israel Education and Advocacy, as he coordinates programs that increase knowledge and passion among the students towards Israel and provide them with the tools to advocate on its behalf. In that capacity, he has prepared and led the senior grade on their annual advocacy trip to Washington, DC. Rabbi Sher also serves as one of our Israel Guidance Counselors. He is also the faculty advisor for the Bowling Club. Rabbi Sher studied in Yeshivat Sha’arei Mevaseret Zion, received a BA from Yeshiva College, a Master’s in Jewish Education from the Azrieli School of Education and ordination from RIETS. He has also received his MSW in Social Work from Rutgers University and is a Licensed Social Worker in the State of New Jersey.
